PromptFlow

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 27 August 2026

The short version: PromptFlow works entirely on your device. It has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no servers of its own. Your scripts and recordings never leave your phone unless you share them yourself.

Data we collect

None. PromptFlow does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no sign-up, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash-reporting service embedded in the app.

Data stored on your device

Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, permanently deletes the scripts and settings it stores. Recordings remain in your gallery until you delete them.

Permissions and why they're needed

Voice Sync and speech recognition

Voice Sync uses your device's built-in Android speech recognition service to follow your reading position. Depending on your device and settings, that system service (typically provided by Google) may process audio on-device or via its own servers, under its provider's privacy policy. PromptFlow itself only receives the recognized words to align scrolling and does not store or transmit them. Voice Sync is optional and can be turned off in Settings.

Fonts

Prompter fonts are fetched through Android's Downloadable Fonts service (Google Play services) the first time you select them, then cached on your device. The font request contains no personal data.

Children

PromptFlow is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before the change ships.
